CreativePop are a Seaham based artist duo, Michelle Harland and Laura Joy Robertson, who came about in a response to their shared passion for narrative lead immersive art experiences. Our ethos is Art can exist anywhere and be created by anyone, you only have to find the inspiration already there!

While much of what we do is commissioned works we endeavour to also stay true to our principles of environmentally friendly practices which results in many of our work beginning based outdoors, in natural surroundings utilising natural materials.

Having worked collaboratively on many past projects through our other companies, Creative Youth Opportunities and Popple’s Tales the time came when our vision and aspirations for our own artistic development and projects lined up with each other.

Delivering market-leading audience engagement, inclusive practices and artistic vision our aim is to raise the bar for participative, meaningful and impactful projects across our region and beyond, ideally forming a legacy that will be recognised and enjoyed by both present and future generations.

From arts festivals to site specific installations, to workshops and more, we use our combined creative talents and wealth of experience to engage communities and audiences.
